Leucillin at Horses Inside Out – February 2026
We have returned from Horses Inside Out 2026, and what a valuable event it was for the equestrian community!
Held at Loughborough University on 21–22 February, this year’s conference focused on Soundness and Symmetry, bringing together equine professionals, researchers and businesses to explore the science behind equine health, movement and soundness.
Founded by equine anatomist and biomechanist Gillian Higgins, Horses Inside Out is internationally recognised for its innovative approach to equine education.
Gillian is particularly well known for her anatomically painted horses, helping riders, trainers and therapists understand how the skeleton and muscular systems work together during movement. Her work translates scientific knowledge into practical insights that support better horse care and welfare.

The conference featured leading speakers, including equine orthopaedic specialist Dr Sue Dyson and eventing champion Ros Canter, alongside an exhibition showcasing businesses supporting the equestrian industry.
Events like this provide a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow professionals and discover innovations in equine nutrition, rehabilitation, parasite management and horse care.
At Leucillin, we are passionate about supporting equine welfare through versatile skincare solutions. Our hypochlorous solution offers a practical option for everyday horse care, including skin cleansing and use around sensitive areas. Leucillin is also competition safe.
Thank you to Gillian Higgins and the Horses Inside Out team for bringing the equestrian community together for such an educational event.
